5th Birthday Letter From Serah

Good Evening and Happy Saturday To You! 

Today 21st September, marks a significant milestone for us; our 5th anniversary. I’m also delighted to introduce myself beyond the handwritten notes. I’m Serah, the founder of Story of Elegance.

In this special letter, I’d like to share some personal reflections and express my gratitude to you and to everyone who has been a part of the journey. 

Story of Elegance is deeply meaningful to me, serving as a source of daily joy and fulfilling a childhood dream. Over the past 5 years, it has transformed from an idea born out of an overloaded spreadsheet into a cherished brand.
 
As a deeply sentimental person, I see words as a way to tell stories and inspire both ourselves and others. It has always been on my heart to share what I felt was missing.

The birth of the brand stemmed from my desire to see the world become kinder, more playful, and more flattering through words. I chose to showcase this vision through 'Story of Elegance'.
 
Becoming a founder has given me the honour of connecting with and celebrating people, religions, diversity and culture around the world. It has allowed me to fulfil my purpose: to serve and to grace the world with my words. I am grateful that this journey began in one of the most diverse places in the world - the heart of London, a city I will always cherish as my hometown.
 
Creativity remains a personal source of therapy for me, offering clarity, peace, and a way to capture time. I sincerely hope that everyone reading this letter will explore and nurture their own creativity. It’s a gift we have all been granted.
 
I am incredibly grateful for every client, friend, recommendation, family member, and especially those who have spoken of me in rooms I have never entered. To everyone who has gone to great lengths to make and sustain my dream, and to those who have shown immense support along the way, thank you!.

I’m especially thankful that, despite the challenges posed by world events, we have continued with love.
 
I look forward to sharing the future of Story of Elegance with you, enriched by stories conveyed through paper, words, colour and culture.
