At Story of Elegance, traditional methods remain at the heart of how our cards are produced. Each design is hot-foiled by hand and carefully assembled with its insert, ensuring every detail is considered.
Our colour-matched envelopes carry the same level of care. Once the paper is milled, it is formed, laid and folded by hand, resulting in a refined finish that complements each card beautifully.
Every card is made individually using time-honoured processes. We do not use digital printing. Instead, each design is created through layered techniques and finished by hand, with every card made in England.each card is made in England.
British Craftsmanship
What is Hot-Foiling?
Hot foiling is the process we use to apply a metallic, glossy finish to the wording on the front of each card. A heated metal die presses the foil onto the paper surface, creating crisp lettering with a polished, luxurious finish.
How Its Made?
At Story of Elegance, every card is produced using traditional hot-foiling methods. Metallic foil is carefully pressed onto premium paper, allowing the wording to sit with depth and subtle shimmer. This process defines our time-honoured approach, where precision, material quality and finish are central to every design.
